Synthetic resins such as PVP (polyvinyl pyrrolidone polymer), acrylate copolymer, VA (vinyl acetate) polymer, and acrylamide polymer, have been found in almost all hair styling spray products. They form synthetics plastic film to hold hairs in place.

These synthetic plastics are petrochemicals derived, so are not the best choice to enhance your hairs’ natural beauty. When inhaled, can also cause health problems. Synthetic plastics are not readily biodegradable, do not meet our ecofriendly needs.

Suncoat has chosen multi-sugar biopolymer instead of petroleum derived synthetic plastics. Multi-sugar biopolymer are essentially complex carbohydrates and act similarly to synthetic plastics in terms of hold, but without harming us or the environment. They are derived from natural renewable resources, readily biodegradable, a superior choice for your hair and the environment.
